"I think it starts on the and of 1"
On the and of 4 is my take. I took an admirer on a quick tour of the first bar tonight after he'd enjoyed watching your run-through earlier!

Sounding good! Notes all there; now just needs a foot tap to get the swing nice and tight!

Nice one Glenn! All in decent shape ... G to D change could be tightened up too I reckon (looks like more than one movement up and down to get between them).
I think you're changing to the last D half a beat early ... that will tie-in with the word "are" falling (early) on the last upbeat of the bar and pulling the chord to it.
A good one for a re-do in the near future but very listenable as is! 😎

Foot's in the door! The challenge there is in keeping the bent note (at 0:09) ringing (or at least in the bent position) while the 4th finger note is played.
The extra burden is to aim finger 4 while the bend is made. Easier said than done but a fairly short-term problem to solve.
As ever I like to see that sort of thing put into a benchmarkable standalone loop! Here's a quick scratchpad take:

Taking shape nicely for the run at 75bpm! A fair difference noticeable in your little finger there already I think and finger 3 holding better too.
I'll bet learning the tougher Steve Vai pattern made the 4 note "Hall of Fame" feel more like an old friend. 😉

Nice and you can hit the high note on "dream".
I call for a full version with only the foot tap for backing!

You've certainly jumped your practice up a level by the sounds and, like all your benchmarks, that never goes backwards!

Superb stuff!
D to D at 140 is a major breakthrough!
Might sound crazy but it's not unusual when I meet a long-time casual player, I find that they have been carrying baggage forever that means, when put to the lab-condition test, their D to D is actually "XXX"!
Hopefully the biggest breakthrough of all is the realisation that you got all that improvement by yourself!
Nice one "Johnny Guitar"!

Not been in here for a while myself! You snuck this one in under the radar I see just before this morning's session!
It's all running nicely (chord changes in fine order) and should make a interesting one for a redo too when the extras we saw today are bedded in.

NIce one John - eminently listenable! Strayed a little from the beat at about the 3 minute mark but pulled back in by the end.
Keep 'em coming!

Good to see you hard at work in the guitar gym!
I reckon the magnifying glass (listening to the sound each string makes individually while keeping the whole chord moving) would highlight a couple of issues in each of those clips.
See if you can spot them and we'll dig a little tomorrow!

A world of difference! Strays a little after a few reps but starts off right on the money! It's worth thinking about aiming finger 1 back to the first note of the pattern while the bend is still held, to eliminate the need to jump hand position.
Keep 'em coming! 😊
