As promised - opening verse. The trouble I still have with Bm throws the rhythm in the next line (and my vocal range is tested a bit too!)
I committed to get this to 150bpm with lyrics by Monday. Still very much a work in progress - this is 140bpm.
Superb stuff! Maybe a liberty (or two) taken with the rhythm of the words of the second line but that's allowed as artistic licence and it's a very unusual rhythm on the original!

150bpm by Monday a piece of cake! 😎
I have been playing guitar for about 2-3 years but inconsistent playing
I can play some chords but lacking a real music sound due to struggling with strumming and no groove
I started later in life @58 my goal is to play along with my sons and for my own bucket list
Another goal is to play something that other people can recognize what I am playing 😃
I am enjoying playing guitar and looking forward to working with the Taplature program
Unfortunately I have been swamped with work and guitar playing fell far back
I am working on trying to get back to playing guitar again hopefully change my schedule.
Part of the problem was my lack of gaining headway so it was easy to pass on playing, but now I am looking forward to working with you and your system. I really want to play
Not ready for actually video yet

Nice one Glenn! All in decent shape ... G to D change could be tightened up too I reckon (looks like more than one movement up and down to get between them). I think you're changing to the last D half a beat early ... that will tie-in with the word "are" falling (early) on the last upbeat of the bar and pulling the chord to it. A good one for a re-do in the near future but very listenable as is! 😎
